The Black Masterbatch 60A is a versatile, medium-grade colorant solution engineered for manufacturers who require a balance between high jetness (blackness) and economic efficiency. Formulated with a 30% Carbon Black concentration and carried in a robust Recycled PE/PP/ABS matrix, this masterbatch is specifically designed to lower production costs without sacrificing the visual appeal of the final product.
Unlike standard masterbatches, the 60A model features a specialized additive package that includes UV stabilizers and anti-aging agents. This makes it the premier choice for the construction industry and outdoor applications where weatherability and longevity are critical. Whether you are producing agricultural pipes, construction sheets, or industrial containers, the 60A ensures uniform dispersion and thermal stability up to 240°C.
Our masterbatch made of PE and PP as carriers, inorganic pigments and organic dyes with high-performance additives. The particles are uniform and beautiful in appearance, cylindrical or flat-round in shape, uniform in color, good dispersibility, stability and heat resistance. It is widely used in packaging film, pots, bottles, caps, pipes, containers, toys, household appliances, office supplies, automotive accessories and all kinds of construction.| Availability: | |

Our R&D team has developed the 60A to address the common pain points of industrial plastic processing: uneven coloring and material degradation.
The 60A utilizes high-tint inorganic pigments. While the standard recommended addition rate is 2%–4% for full structural integrity and opacity, the masterbatch demonstrates exceptional tinting power. In specific thin-wall applications, users have reported achieving "very black" results with dosages as low as 0.6%–0.8%, offering significant raw material savings.
Standard plastics degrade quickly under sunlight. The 60A incorporates a synergistic blend of Carbon Black (which naturally absorbs UV) and specific anti-oxidant additives. This dual-action mechanism blocks ultraviolet radiation and slows down the polymer chain scission (aging reaction), significantly extending the lifecycle of outdoor plastic products.
By utilizing a mixed recycled carrier (PE/PP/ABS), we not only reduce the environmental footprint but also ensure broader compatibility across different recycled plastic streams. The pellets are engineered into a uniform 2*3mm size to ensure they melt evenly with the host resin, preventing "spots" or nozzle clogging during extrusion.
Cost Reduction: The use of a recycled carrier combined with high filler content ($CaCO_3$ 37%) makes this one of the most competitively priced masterbatches for non-critical aesthetic applications.
Thermal Stability: Maintains performance in processing temperatures ranging from 180°C to 240°C, making it suitable for high-speed injection molding and sheet extrusion.
Visual Consistency: Produces a uniform, cylindrical, or flat-round pellet that ensures consistent feeding in the hopper, resulting in a final product with a smooth, glossy finish.
Eco-Friendly Option: Supports the circular economy by utilizing recycled carrier resins.
The Black Masterbatch 60A is a "workhorse" grade, widely used across multiple sectors due to its broad compatibility.
Sheet Extrusion: Ideal for architectural decoration boards, hollow sheets, and construction templates.
Pipes: Used in corrugated pipes, drainage systems, and irrigation tubing where UV resistance is required.
Geomembranes: Waterproofing sheets used in landscaping and foundations.
Logistics: Heavy-duty crates, pallets, and dustbins.
Automotive: Non-visible structural parts, mudguards, and battery cases.
Daily Use: Flower pots, hangers, and office supply components.
Suitable for shopping bags, multilayer casting films, and garbage bags where absolute opacity is needed.

After the masterbatch and other raw materials are evenly mixed, the sheet is heated after pressing, and then the sheet is pushed out by suction, the sheet and the mold are bonded, and then formed by cooling.
Mixing: Tumble mix the masterbatch with your base resin (PE, PP, or ABS) for a minimum of 5-10 minutes. Ensure the masterbatch is evenly distributed before feeding it into the hopper.
Temperature Control: Set the screw temperature profile between 180°C and 240°C. Do not exceed 250°C to prevent the degradation of the recycled carrier resin.
For Sheet Extrusion:
After mixing, the material is melted and pressed.
Suction & Bonding: During the suction phase where the sheet is pushed out and bonded to the mold, ensure consistent vacuum pressure to prevent surface defects.
YHM Masterbatches is committed to safety and regulatory compliance. The 60A Black Masterbatch is rigorously tested and carries the following certifications, ensuring it meets international safety standards for industrial use:
ISO9001 (Quality Management)
RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances)
REACH (EU Regulation compliance)
MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet available upon request)
